Mike Allen is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative with New England Securities.  He has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia and has been involved with the financial services industry since 1992.  Mike, Melanie, and his two daughters, Eliza and Charlotte live in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

While growing up in Jefferson City, MO, Mike’s family faced the need to prepare for the unexpected.  He lost his father to cancer at a young age.  They learned the challenges and joys surrounding intellectual and development disabilities, as an older brother and sister confronted their respective special needs.  The family developed the necessary responsibilities of preparedness, organization and planning at early ages of life.  There are always details to consider.

Mike is involved with a number of organizations affiliated with early education, special needs planning and his community.  He serves on the board of the Lee’s SummitEducational Foundation, volunteers as a community partner with GreatBeginningsEarlyEducationCenter, MODDRC/IHD, and the LS 360 Education Committee.  He has been involved with EFECT, Down Syndrome Guild, the LS Rotary Club, the Lee’s SummitChamber, and other organizations.
